FINALISTS FOR THE TRAVOLUTION AWARDS 2015 WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON 27TH AUGUST

 

The Travolution Awards 2015 winners will be announced at the ceremony at the fantastic venue The Ballroom, Southbank in London on Monday 30th November 2015.

The Travolution Awards are unique in recognising companies, brands and individuals who excel in the fields of online travel distribution, digital marketing and technology.

Judged by a panel of proven business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs, the awards are the UK travel industry’s highest accolade for innovation and excellence online. Companies and brands compete in a select number of categories, whilst entrepreneurs and rising stars are honoured in the individual awards.

The closing date for entries has been extended from 26th June to 3rd July and is free of charge so dont miss out!

This award will be given to a digital marketing agency and/or travel organisation which has excelled with SEM techniques. Particular notice will be taken of advances and innovations made within the last 12 months.

NEW FOR 2015

This award will honour the people behind the technology recognising outstanding examples of technology teams in travel and their work over the last 12 months. It could be an in-house team or an agency, but entrants will demonstrate the ability to use their technological know-how and expertise to solve key issues for their clients or parent company.

Judges will be looking for best practice in project management, an ability to deliver to required KPIs, on budget and within timeframes and even to exceed return on investment expectations. 

As always additional credit will be given to entries that demonstrate an innovative approach that has really made a difference.

Candidates will be invited to meet the judges face-to-face for an interview to determine the overall winner of the category.
 
Start-up of the Year
This award is awarded to the travel start-up which has begun operations within the last two to three years and which is judged to have the best chance of establishing itself in the travel industry.

  • Clarity of vision for its role and position within the travel industry
Developer of the Year

NEW FOR 2015

This individual award will crown the technology expert who is considered to have made the most significant contribution to the travel sector through a technological innovation they have completed in the last 12 months.

Entrants could be working in-house or for an agency, but the winner will demonstrate the ability to use their technological know-how and expertise to solve key issues for their clients or parent company.

Judges will be looking for proven ability to look beyond the brief and to find innovative solutions for clients implemented to budget and on time and according to required KPIs.

The winner will have a strong grasp of the latest technologies and developer platforms available and how to use these in travel to maximise return on investment for their client or employer.
