Judging process
The Travolution Awards programme is administered by Travolution.
The Travolution editorial and senior management team will make a preliminary assessment of the entries and create a shortlist for each category.
A committee of senior people involved in the online travel industry across operator, supplier and agency websites, search engines and technology companies, will then be appointed to review the entries and select a winner for each category.
The judges will retain the right to withhold an award in any category if, by mutual agreement, the entries are not deemed to be of sufficient quality to merit recognition. The panel will also propose a special commendation in a category if required.
The following categories will be judged for a formal ‘Pitch’:
* Best use of search engine optimisation
* Best agency for website design
* Best agency for website design
* Best technology provider
The pitch will include appearing before the judges to present their entry and answer questions. Dates will be forwarded to entries when the shortlist is announced.
The judges’ decision is final.
